Good Hunt Editorial Team

At Good Hunt, our editorial team is made up of active hunters, not writers borrowing the subject. Founded in 2023 in Maitland, NSW, by hunters who live and breathe the sport, we bring over 25 years of hunting experience and a decade of hands-on work in thermal imaging to everything we publish, including a factory visit to HIKMICRO's own facility to understand the technology at its source. Before we write a word about any thermal scope, night vision unit, or hunting optic, we've field-tested it ourselves in real Australian conditions: scrub, paddocks, warm nights, and everything in between, so our reviews reflect how gear actually performs, not just what's on a spec sheet. That hands-on approach is what makes us a trusted voice in the hunting and shooting niche: genuine advice from people who use this gear on real hunts and real pest control jobs.
